We in Leicester stand with Kurds in Syria

Things are changing fast. Kurds in Rojava, north eastern Syria are under attack by Turkey and its ISIS-related allies who have an interest in clearing the Kurds off their homelands, ethnic cleansing at least, genocide at worst.

The international community needs to be mobilised to dissuade Turkey from moving forward with these plans, and it needs to properly engage with Kurds in the area to support them in their struggle for survival. It is very likely that a dark scenario will remain dark.
